VUT Strike 2019
Roads were barricaded with broken glasses, rocks and burnt tyers so to prevent cars from going through.
Law enforcement was called to the scene as VUT staff members were on strike for a raise on their salaries, they took it to the streets to express their anger to the management by looting.
The above pictures show staff members of the University of technology wearing their political party shirts and hats burning tyer and placing rocks on the road so to prevent cars from passing
Students were not able to go to classes as it was the environment was too violent for them to go inside the university.
Law enforcement officials are seen here helping each other out to clean out the road that is filled with shuttered glasses and a lighting pole.
